Lineups help managers turn attendance into a plan for a specific event. You can use them to show who is playing on each line, who is assigned to each position, or who is on each side for a scrimmage or drop-in.
Open the lineup tools
Go to Schedule.
Open the game or event.
Choose Lines.
For baseball and softball teams, choose Positions or Batting Order.

From the lineup screen, add players into the spots you want them to play. Managers can also print the lineup, post it to Chatter, copy lines from a previous event, or reset the lineup when they need to start over.
Dark and Light teams
For Scrimmage and Drop-In events, BenchApp can show separate Dark Team and Light Team sections. This is useful when you are running pickup games, drop-in games, or recurring weekly skates and need to divide the players into two sides.
If your team has access to team randomization, use Randomize Teams to quickly split available players into Dark and Light teams, then make any manual adjustments you need.
π‘ Tip: For weekly skates, use the randomize team feature found in the more menu. This will use the player's ranking and position to randomize the teams and try to make it as fair as possible.
Batting order
For baseball and softball, open the event and choose Batting Order from the positions menu. Add players in the order they should bat, and update the order for each game as needed.
π‘ Tip: Need to change a lineup later? Open the event from your Schedule and choose Lines, Positions, or Batting Order again.
