Randomize Teams helps managers quickly split checked-in players into Dark Team and Light Team for a drop-in or scrimmage event.
👑 This feature requires BenchApp PRO. You can still move players manually after BenchApp creates the teams.
Step 1: Use the right event type
Randomize Teams is available on Drop-In and Scrimmage style events.
Step 2: Open the event lineup
Go to Schedule.
Open the drop-in or scrimmage event.
Open Lines.
Step 3: Randomize the teams
Open the lineup menu.
Choose Randomize Teams.
Review the Dark Team and Light Team that BenchApp creates.
Step 4: How BenchApp balances the teams
BenchApp places players who are marked IN, keeps goalies and positions in their natural spots when possible, and uses player rankings to help balance the teams if rankings are set.
If player rankings are not set, BenchApp still splits the players into balanced groups.
