Randomize Teams helps pickup organizers quickly split checked-in players into two sides. It is useful when players arrive close to game time and you want a fast starting point for Dark and Light teams.
👑 This feature requires BenchApp PRO. You can still move players manually after BenchApp creates the teams.
Step 1: Open the pickup event
Go to Schedule.
Open the pickup, drop-in, or scrimmage event.
Step 2: Open Lines
Click or tap Lines.
BenchApp opens the lineup editor for that event.
Step 3: Randomize the teams
Open the lineup menu.
Choose Randomize Teams.
Review the Dark Team and Light Team that BenchApp creates.
Step 4: Make any manual changes
After the teams are randomized, move players if you need to balance skill, positions, goalies, or players who need to be on opposite sides.
Step 5: Save or reuse the setup
For recurring pickup games, you can use Copy Previous Lines on a future event if you want to start from a setup you already liked.
