How do I change when attendance reminders are sent?

Choose how many days before each game and event your players get their attendance reminder.

Use this guide when you want attendance reminders to go out at a different time, for example 2 days before every game.

This is for team managers. Reminder timing is a team setting: each team's manager sets it in that team's Settings, and it applies to every game and event on that team's schedule. League settings don't include it, so a league can't set it for all of its teams at once.

Step 1: Open Automatic Reminders

  1. Go to Settings (on the web it's in the team sidebar; in the app, open the menu at the top left and choose Team Settings).

  2. Choose Automatic Reminders.

Step 2: Choose when the email reminders go out

Each reminder saves as soon as you pick a value; there's no Save button.

  1. Open 1st Email Reminder and choose how many days before the event it's sent, from 1 day before to 10 days before, 15 days before or 30 days before.

  2. To send a second email closer to the event, choose a value for 2nd Email Reminder. The second reminder is part of BenchApp PRO.

  3. To stop a reminder, choose Do not send.

Step 3: Set text and push reminders (optional)

Text and push reminders have their own timing, with the same choices as email.

  1. For text messages, choose a value for 1st Text Reminder and 2nd Text Reminder. Text reminders are part of BenchApp PRO.

  2. For app notifications, choose a value for 1st Push Reminder and 2nd Push Reminder.

Tip: Running a league? Ask each team's manager to set their reminders. The setting belongs to the team, so every team in your league can choose its own timing.
