Use this guide when you need to add games, practices, team events, or league events to your BenchApp schedule.
This is for managers and assistant managers who maintain the team calendar. You can add one event, create several events at once, import a spreadsheet, or sync from a league calendar URL.
Step 1: Open the schedule add menu
Go to Schedule.
Click Add (on the web) or tap + (in the app) at the top right.
Step 2: Choose how you want to add events
Choose the option that matches the schedule information you already have:
Add Event: create one game, practice, or team event.
Add Multiple Events: enter several known events in one flow.
Import Schedule: upload a CSV or Excel file.
Sync Schedule: connect an iCal, ICS, or WebCal URL from your league.
Step 3: Add a single event
Choose Add Event.
Choose the event type, home or away, opponent, date, time, location, and any attendance or reminder settings.
Click or tap Add.
Step 4: Use bulk options when you have more than one event
Use Add Multiple Events when you already know a group of practices, games, or team events and want to enter them together. Each row is one event; use Add Another Event for a blank row or Duplicate Last Row to copy the previous one and change only what differs.
If your schedule is already in a spreadsheet, use Import Schedule. BenchApp supports .csv, .xlsx, and .xls files. You can download a template, upload your file, and review duplicates before saving.
If your league gives you an iCal, ICS, or WebCal link, use Sync Schedule. Ongoing schedule sync requires BenchApp PRO, but you can preview a calendar URL first.
Tip: Need to change an event later? Open the event from Schedule and choose Edit.
