How do I invite players to my team?

Share your join code, add players by hand, or import a whole roster.

There are a few ways to get players onto your BenchApp roster. Choose the option that fits how much information you already have.

This is for managers and assistant managers. Everything starts from Roster: on the web the options are the Invite and Add buttons at the top right; in the app they're all in the + menu.

Option 1: Share your team invite code

Use the invite code when players can join themselves. This is usually the fastest option.

  1. Go to Roster.

  2. Click Invite (on the web) or tap + then Invite via Code (in the app).

  3. Send the code with Share Team Code, copy it, or let players scan the QR code.

Option 2: Add players manually

Best for one or two people at a time.

  1. Go to Roster.

  2. Click Add (web) or tap + (app).

  3. Choose Add Manually (web) or Add Someone Manually (app).

Option 3: Import a roster

If your roster is in a spreadsheet, choose Import from CSV/Excel in the same menu to add everyone at once. See How do I import my roster from CSV or Excel?

Option 4: Import from a previous season

Tip: Players who join with the code are linked to their own BenchApp account straight away, so they get attendance emails and can check in from day one.
