Linked accounts

Link a spectator account to a roster player so they can set attendance on their behalf

Updated this week

Linked Accounts let you connect a Spectator account to a Roster player, so the spectator can set that player's attendance. This is useful when a player uses multiple email addresses, or when someone (like a parent) needs to check in on another player's behalf.

⚠️ Requires PRO: Linked Accounts require manager access and a BenchApp PRO upgrade.

How to link a spectator to a roster player

  1. Go to your Roster page

  2. Click on the Spectator you want to link

  3. Click Edit

  4. Under Class, make sure Spectator is selected β€” a Linked Accounts field will appear below

  5. Select the roster player you want to link this spectator to

  6. Click Save

Once linked, both the roster player and the spectator will receive attendance notifications and can set the roster player's attendance for each game.

Managing youth players? Check out Family Members β€” a feature designed specifically for parents managing multiple children.
