Use divisions to group the teams in your league, such as by skill level or age group. Teams are grouped by division on the Teams page, and Move Players picks teams by division.
This is for league managers. Divisions belong to a season, so switch into your league from the team switcher and check the season first.
Step 1: Open Divisions
Each division shows how many teams it has.
On the web, go to Settings and click Divisions.
In the app, open the menu, tap League Settings, then tap Divisions.
Step 2: Add a division
Click + Add Division (web) or tap + (app).
Enter a name. Names can be up to 32 characters.
Click or tap Done.
Step 3: Put teams in a division
Go to Teams.
Open a team and click Edit Team (web) or tap the pencil (app). On the web you can also click Edit on the team's row.
Choose a Division, or None.
Click or tap Save.
Tip: When you click or tap Add Team, the division at the top of your list is picked for you. You can change it before saving.
Step 4: Rename or remove a division
Click or tap a division in the list.
Change the Division Name. It saves automatically.
To delete it, click or tap Remove Division, then Remove. Its teams stay in the league with no division.
Tip: Importing a league schedule from a file also adds any divisions it names that the league doesn't have yet.
