Importing players from a previous season

Bring players back from an older roster or another team you manage.

Use this when you're starting a new season and want to bring back players from an older roster, or copy players from another team you manage.

This is for managers and assistant managers. It only offers teams and seasons you manage yourself.

Step 1: Open roster import

  1. Go to Roster.

  2. Click Add (on the web) or tap + (in the app).

  3. Choose Add from Team or Season (web) or Add from another Team or Season (app).

Step 2: Choose the team or season, then the players

BenchApp adds the selected players to your current roster and lets them know they've been connected to the new team.

  1. Pick the team or season to copy from.

  2. Tick the players you want on the current roster — use the search box or the position filters to narrow the list.

  3. Click or tap Import.

Tip: If the screen says you don't manage any other team or season, there's nothing to import from yet — use CSV import or the join code instead.
