Use this guide when you want BenchApp to use a different email address — for logging in and for the attendance emails, reminders and team messages you receive.
This is for anyone with a BenchApp account.
Step 1: Open your profile
Go to Account. On the web it's under your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar; in the app it's the Account tab.
Click or tap your name at the top of the page.
Step 2: Open your email settings
Under Contact, choose Email.
Step 3: Enter the new address
Your new address becomes your login straight away. Teams, history and settings stay exactly as they were.
Replace the address in the Email field. It saves when you leave the field — there is no separate Save button.
Tip: If you see "This e-mail is already associated with another account", you already have a second BenchApp account under that address. See What does the "This e-mail is already associated with another account" error mean?
