This error means the email address you entered is already connected to an existing BenchApp account.
Why it happens
BenchApp keeps one account per email address. If you created a duplicate player first and then tried to add their real email later, BenchApp may ask you to remove and add them again.
Step 1: Remove the duplicate player
Go to Roster.
Open the duplicate player profile.
Choose Remove.
Step 2: Add the player again
Add the player again from Roster.
Use the same email address that is already connected to their BenchApp account.
Save the player.
BenchApp links the existing account to your team.
