Team managers can link a child to an existing parent or guardian from the team roster. This is useful when the parent is already on your roster as a spectator and needs to manage attendance for their child from the same BenchApp account.
Step 1: Open the parent on your roster
Go to Roster.
Scroll to Spectators.
Click or tap the parent or guardian you want to update.
Step 2: Edit the parent's roster profile
Click or tap Edit.
Find the Family section.
Step 3: Choose Children
Click or tap Add Family Member.
Choose Children.
Step 4: Add or select the child
If the child is already on the roster, select them from the list.
If the child is not on the roster yet, click or tap Add Family Member.
Enter the child's name and any details you want to include.
Click or tap Done.
💡 If the parent is not listed under Spectators, update their player class first so they are set up as a parent or guardian instead of a roster player.
