Assigning duties

Assign volunteer duties to players, parents, or team members.

Duties help managers keep track of game-day jobs, such as bringing water bottles, jerseys, snacks, music, or other team items.

Step 1: Open the event

  1. Go to Schedule.

  2. Open the event where the duty is needed.

Step 2: Add a duty

  1. Open the event duties area.

  2. Create the duty and give it a clear name.

Step 3: Assign or ask for volunteers

  • Assign a person: choose the player, parent, or team member who should handle the duty.

  • Ask for volunteers: leave the duty open so someone can accept it.

BenchApp notifies the assigned person by email and push notification if push notifications are enabled.
