Yes. BenchApp can help your team collect player fees and spare fees by credit card using Stripe. This is handy when you want payments tracked in BenchApp and deposited into your bank account.
π‘ Credit card payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe may ask for identity, banking, and business details while you connect your account.
Step 1: Open Fees & Finances
Go to Team Settings.
Open Fees & Finances.
Step 2: Connect Stripe
Find Accept Credit Card Payments.
Click or tap Configure.
Follow the Stripe setup steps.
When setup is complete, BenchApp will show Stripe Connected in Fees & Finances.
Step 3: Choose how payment fees work
Use Cover Payment Fees to decide how credit card processing fees are handled.
On: the player pays the listed fee, and the processing fee comes out of the amount you receive.
Off: the processing fee is added on top of the player fee.
See What does it cost me to accept credit cards? for the current fee details.
Step 4: Collect player and spare fees
After Stripe is connected, players and spares can pay eligible fees by credit card from the app or web. Payments stay connected to the player in BenchApp, so you can see who has paid and who still owes.
If someone pays you outside BenchApp, you can still mark the fee as paid manually.
Step 5: Use payment tools when you need them
If you run pickup, drop-in, or spare-heavy teams, Pay to Play can require players to pay before they can check IN.
π This feature requires BenchApp PRO: Pay to Play and automatic spare-fee tracking.
You can also use payment reminders to help follow up with players who have overdue fees.
