When you refund a player payment, the refunded amount comes from your Stripe balance β not from BenchApp. This means you need enough funds in your Stripe account to cover any refund you issue.
If your balance is insufficient, BenchApp will show you an error explaining why the refund failed along with your current available balance.
How to resolve a failed refund
Log into Stripe and check your available balance
Wait for incoming payments to replenish your balance, or top it up directly in Stripe
Once you have sufficient funds, go back to the BenchApp Finances section and try the refund again
